Carpet Kleen effectively cleaned old residue from previous uses of more chemically-based cleaners, as well as ground-in dirt they couldn’t remove. Combined with the pretreater, took old stains down to 30% of what they were. Nineteen-year-old carpet looks and feels nearly new, pile was restored in a way other cleaners couldn’t achieve. Felt no sensitivity to skin or sinuses—mild on skin, slight, inoffensive scent during use, no scent when dry. Used less than 3 ounces of the cleaner for a large room and two hallways that required some intensive work, the 32-ounce bottle may be enough for the rest of the house. Worked well in a spray bottle used with a wet/dry vac for tight spaces. Will buy the gallon next time so I can use in the car interiors as well.
