I needed to acid wash my corroded and pitted aluyminum horse trailer floor. With EPA regs, could not find any place to do it for me, so I purchased this product. It worked pretty well, given the condition of the floor. I did need to use it at a 1:1 dilution to have any effect. also needed to apply a moderate amount of elbow grease. Used a broom to scrub as it foamed, and it helped quite a bit. Would use again
Had to apply a couple times times with light scrubbing, however it did a good job on my aluma klm trailer. 8 years of heavy use, sitting outside year round, and having only been pressure washed a couple times, I'm pleased with the results. Hope the glare don't cause a crash😎
Worked very well on my aluminum horse trailer. The trailer almost looks new again.
I used a 1:10 solution on my 12 year old aluminum horse trailer and my trailer looks like new. It did take a few applications coupled with pressure washing to remove the years of oxidation, but the dull aluminum is bright and shiny again. Highly recommended!
I bought a 2000 aluminum horse trailer that had never been cleaned. It had 13 years of oxidation. Granted it took a couple of applications to get it looking like it does today, but now it just shines. In fact, the shine from the fenders reflect on the sides. I used the 1 to 10 ratio for my mix. I have acid washed horse trailers for years and it is very important to follow all manufacturer directions. My favorite time to acid wash is during a very light rain or mist. Times I avoid all hot, sunny and windy conditions. Can share before and after pics with anyone requesting.
